Port Royale Apartment 285
Legal & Privacy
Clear information about the accommodation, this website and how personal information is handled.
Website purpose and reservations
This website presents Port Royale Apartment 285, provides practical information for guests and publishes the independent Tenerife Guide editorial project.
The website does not accept reservations, payments or create customer accounts. Booking buttons lead to Booking.com, where availability, prices, reservations, payments, cancellations and platform terms are managed.
Personal data
For personal data processed by the accommodation owner in connection with website or accommodation enquiries, reservations and stays, whether obtained directly from you or from a booking platform, the data controller is Cismaru Petre Catalin, the owner and website operator identified on this page.
There are no contact forms, newsletter subscriptions or analytics tools on this website. The website does not sell personal data.
This website does not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Depending on how you contact or book the accommodation, the personal data processed may include:
- your name and contact details;
- the content of your messages and enquiries;
- reservation, stay, identification and legally required guest-registration information received from you or from the booking platform you used, such as Booking.com or Airbnb.
The information is obtained directly from you when you contact us, or from the relevant booking platform when you make or manage a reservation through that platform.
The information is used for the following purposes and legal bases: answering accommodation or reservation enquiries, taking requested pre-contractual steps and administering a reservation or stay are based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; compliance with applicable tourism, guest-registration, tax, accounting and public-safety obligations is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; and answering other website enquiries or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims is based on the legitimate interest in responding to communications and protecting legal rights under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Providing information for a general enquiry is voluntary. If information needed to answer an enquiry, administer a reservation or meet a legal obligation is not provided, we may be unable to respond or manage the stay.
Personal data may be disclosed where necessary to the relevant booking or communication provider, service providers involved in operating the accommodation, professional advisers, legally required guest-registration systems and competent public authorities. It is not disclosed to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
General enquiries are retained for no longer than needed to handle them and any reasonably anticipated follow-up or legal claims. Reservation, guest-registration, stay and accounting information is retained for the periods required by applicable tourism, public-security, tax and accounting laws and for the relevant legal limitation periods. The information must be deleted or anonymised when those purposes and periods no longer apply.
Local storage and cookies
This website does not use advertising, profiling or analytics cookies. On the 404 error page, choosing a language stores that selection in your browser's local storage for that page. It is not used for tracking or advertising.
Because the site does not use non-essential tracking technologies, it does not display a cookie-consent banner.
Hosting and external services
The website is hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub states that visitor IP addresses are logged and stored for security purposes. Details are available in the GitHub Pages data collection information.
The site contains links to external services such as Booking.com, WhatsApp, Facebook, Google Maps, TripAdvisor and Cicar. These services are not embedded in the site. When you choose an external link, the privacy policy and terms of that provider apply.
Messages sent by email or WhatsApp are processed through the communication provider you choose, such as Yahoo Mail or WhatsApp/Meta. Depending on the provider and account, personal data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer is made under the owner's responsibility, it must rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards required by Chapter V GDPR. Further information about an applicable transfer mechanism may be requested using the privacy contact listed on this page.
Booking.com and Airbnb are separate controllers for processing for which they determine the purposes and means on their own platforms. When a platform provides reservation information to the accommodation owner, the owner processes that information for the purposes stated above.
Your privacy rights
Where applicable, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. Send your request to catalinavlad1@yahoo.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or with the competent authority in the EU country of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
Content and responsibility
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and useful. Travel information, schedules, prices, links and third-party services can change, so important details should be confirmed directly with the relevant provider.
